US Acting DHS Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Resigns
After the resignation of the US homeland security secretary, now, the acting deputy of the department left job.
According to Middle East Press; Reuters quoting Kirstjen Nielsen has reported that acting Deputy Secretary Claire Grady has offered the President her resignation, after she was not selected as the chief of the department.
Resignations at the US Department of Homeland Security cause the instability in Department of Immigration and Border Managements.
Experts believe that Gridy was technically the next in line to replace Kirstjen Nielsen. But Trump chose Kevin McAleenan, the head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as acting secretary.
Two days ago, the US Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen resigned and Kevin McAleenan replaced her post.
