MEP: Two explosions in the northeast of the Iraq’s capital of Baghdad on Monday killed at least 26 people, security officials said.

The first attack took place after a car bomb exploded at a market in northeast Baghdad, killing at least nine people and injuring 17 others.

The second blast occurred a car bomb killed 17 people in a northern Baghdad neighborhood. Fifteen people were also wounded in the attack.

The injured shifted to the hospital and investigations kicked off in the area.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks.

However, such attacks often blamed on Daesh terrorists.
