Twin Blasts Kill and Injure Dozens in Shia Mosque of Iraq
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 18 people have lost their lives and over 15 others have been wounded following twin bomb blasts inside a Shia mosque “Al-Zahraa” in Iraq, official sources say.
Iraq’s interior ministry said, the explosions took place on Friday in Baladruz, a district in Diyala province 75 kilometres (46 miles) northeast of Baghdad.
Another bomb blast killed at least ten people in eastern Iraq, said AFP.
The ISIL militants group claimed responsibility for the attack.
