Publishing last month’s news on a special software program for men to track women in Saudi Arabia has caused great criticism inside and outside the country.

According to Middle East Press; the App, purchased from prestigious Apple and Google stores, allows Arab men to monitor their wives and their daughters, which has been criticized by many individuals, and American lawmakers asked the related companies to remove the “Absher” App from their programs list.

But noteworthy is that the heads of Apple and Google companies ignoring this request, said that they are perusing this software. Google has also announced that it will not remove the App because it has not violated any of the company’s rules.

This is while Ron Widen, an American Democrat Senator and 14 other MPs since February 21, 2019, has sent a letter to related companies and asked the same request.
