Separate Bombings in Syria’s Aleppo Kill 38, injure 15

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Two car bombings targeted two headquarters of the al-Sham Front, a Syrian opposition group, in northern Aleppo province killing at least 38 people and injuring 15 others late Tuesday.

The two suicide car bombings carried out allegedly by ISIL militants on the al-Sham Front.

Saleh Anadani, al-Sham Front’s spokesman, told The Anadolu Agency that 30 people were killed when a Daesh militant rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into the al-Sham Front’s headquarters in Horan Klis area. “Later, another suicide attack in Marii district killed eight fighters, including two senior opposition commanders, and injured 15 civilians,” Anadani added.

Ahmed Hassan, a local activist, said that ISIL had shelled opposition-controlled areas of Marii, Horan Klis and Soran town in northern Aleppo.

Seven injured in the attacks were taken to Turkey through the Oncupinar border crossing to get treatment for their wounds, sources added.
