No U.S. Support For Syrian Land Attack
KABUL: (MEP) Following the Quartet meeting of foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi, Turkey and the US on the sidelines of Munich Security meeting, despite serious Saudi and Turkish determination to send troops to Syria, John Kerry is skeptical about the success of this action.
According to this report, Kerry says: The results of your military intervention are not clear and will entail the other side’s response of intensifying Syrian regime support. We cannot support you effectively in all dimensions and you cannot expect this.
At the meeting, the Turkish foreign minister protested to a US official visiting Syrian Kurdish settling areas and meeting with Kurdish party officials but John Kerry says they are the field reality of the region and cannot be removed. This problem needs to be treated logically.
