Militants Beheaded 4 Kidnapped Civilians in Ghazni

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Four abducted civilians have been gravely beheaded by armed militants in southeastern Ghazni province, according to local officials.

The deadly incident comes after four civilians were abducted by militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group in the same day, said local officials.

Zamin Ali, the district administrative chief in Ghazni province said the civilians were beheaded after the government rejected a prisoner’s exchange deal.

Ali added that the militants had required to release a group of seven insurgents who were arrested by the Afghan security forces in Jaghori district.

The militant groups are yet to comment.

Violence and murdering has been rapidly increased across the country and the United Nation (UN) has confirmed that more than 1,000 people have lost their lives during the recent year in Afghanistan.
