KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 22 people were killed and over 50 others were fatally injured following a deadly blast in eastern Jalalabad city, officials and reports confirmed.

The incident took place near a branch of Kabul bank in Mukhaberat square, around 8.00 local time leaving dozens dead and injured.

According to eye witnesses, ambulances and aid assistance have not yet reached the area but people were shifted by personnel cars to hospital.

Soon after, another bomb blasted in Dolki Baba shrine near department of information and culture leaving two children wounded.

The Taliban militants have rejected hands in the deadly blasts.
