Kabul Bombing Leaves 5 People Wounded

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says the blast was not a suicide attack but a bombing incident that killed five people, including a civilian.

The explosion occurred near the National Army Training Center in Pulcharkhi, Kabul, at 7:30 am today morning.

Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said moments after the incident that the suicide bomber had detonated his explosives, but corrected it after nearly two hours.

He said, “At around 7:30 am this morning, four ANA personnel and one civilians were injured in a bomb attack near the 19th district of Kabul near Camp KTMC.”

No one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
