Israeli Helicopters Attack Gaza Strip
KABUL: (MEP) Two aerial attacks have been launched by Israeli military helicopters and were carried out against the Gaza Strip in an open area just southwest of the city of Khan Yunis.
Arabic-language Safa news agency reported the airstrikes were targeted in the early hours of Monday.
The second midair attack embattled the position of Ezzedine Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, south of the city of Dayr al-Balah.
However, there were no immediate reports in regards to the casualties.
The airstrikes came hours after Tel Aviv claimed that a rocket fired from the coastal enclave had hit the Israeli region of Sha’ar HaNegev. The projectile reportedly did not cause any injuries and there was no damage.
