Hezbollah: Silence Against Kabul Attack, Encouraging Terrorism

6a0133f3eba9e1970b0168e9861017970cMEP: Lebanon’s Hezbollah in addition to condemning the terrorist explosion in Kabul on Saturday, said “global silence in the face of this crime only encouraging terrorism”.

Hezbollah has issued a statement urged to stop giving excuses to terrorists around the world.

The statement said “the terrorist crime in Kabul is the continuing evil ring in killing of and murdering civilians that targets all parts of the world.”

According to Hezbollah, the aim of these measures is also revenge, shedding the blood of innocent people, destruction of the image of Islam and Muslims, aspirations to split the nation and serving the efficiency policy of terrorism as a political expression.

The statement adds that Hezbollah regrets to silence and ignorance of the international and regional as well as media regarding the crime and calls this silence “encouraging terrorism”.

The movement of scholars has called on international and regional delegations to widely condemn the deadly attack.

At least 90 people were killed and more than 230 others wounded in Deh Mazang area of Kabul city when two Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists detonated their explosives among protestors. The protestors had gathered to march against the government’s planned routing of the 500kV power line project.
