After Daesh positions had been attacked and non-nuclear Mother of All Bomb (MOAB) launched in Bati Kot city of Nangarhar, Daesh was expected to be weakened but it is currently said this terrorist group is secretly recruiting from other provinces.

Kunar in east of Afghanistan and a neighbor to Nangarhar has been under Daesh focus to absorb forces there.

“Although security has almost been okay, Daesh has secretly infiltrated into some cities and recruit” Kunar local residents said

“Daesh is going to be available in Kunar and keeps its activities continued here” Jan Agha, a local resident in Kunar, told the Middle East Press

He added Daesh has defamed Islam; this terrorist group is using religious centers and Madrasas like Asaad Abad, Narag and Khas cities in Kunar as recruitment centers.

As this local resident said Daesh poisons the minds of students in these Madrasas and pave their way for joining to the terrorist group.

“It will be a big threat to Kunar security unless Daesh recruitment is stopped” Mirwais, a local resident of Asaad Abad told the Middle East Press

He added:”If the government doesn’t curb Daesh absorbing force, not only east zones but also all the country zones will be damaged.”

Kunar security officials but said no group is allowed to destroy the province security.

Din Mohammad Sapi, a member of provincial council, told the Middle East Press that Daesh has not been seen yet in Kunar but its recruitment is going on.

As he said Ulama, tribal elders and Kunar local residents have opposed to Daesh or other terrorist groups and committed not to let Daesh settled in their villages.

“Daesh recruitment is secretly continuing in Kunar” Mosammam Abdolghani, the Kunar provincial spokesman, told the Middle East Press

He added in some remote area of the province, where Afghan security presence is thin, Daesh may be absorbing some forces but in areas under the heavy control of the security forces Daesh is not available.

Mosammam said in safe cities including Asad Abad no terrorist activities have been reported and no Daesh recruitment is allowed here in Kunr.

Daesh is said to be transferring to Kunar after they had been badly beaten in Nangarhar.

Kunar problems seem to be compounded with Daesh recruitment while recent years this province has been attacked by rackets fired from Pakistan.
