Car Bomb Leaves 12 Dead, 32 Injured In Baghdad’s Busy Market
MEP: A car bomb exploded at a popular vegetable market outside Bagdad killing at least 12 people and injuring 32 on Tuesday morning, local media said.
The vegetable market, located in the northern neighborhood of Rashidiyah, was crowded with people when it struck by blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast but Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group regularly carries out such bombings in the capital and other parts of Iraq, where it seized large swathes of territory in 2014.
Baghdad has seen a dramatic rise in such terror attacks over the past weeks, most of them claimed by the Takfiri Daesh terror group.
