Belgian Criminal Funded Two Ministers of Netanyahu’s Israeli Cabinet

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A Jewish-Belgian diamond dealer based in Jerusalem who has previously been arrested for being part of an international drugs trade and money laundering ring, has funded two members of the current Israeli cabinet, Channel 2 revealed.

The station said Serge Muller, who Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for and who has been held in a Montenegro prison for more than three months, paid 10,000 Israeli shekels ($2,609) for Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked during the internal elections.

He also maintains ties with two other ministers – Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan and Tourism Minister Yariv Levin.

The channel said that he also paid money to them during the Likud vote.

Shmoyel Fromyn Professor of Sociology at the Israeli University in the program said: today no power can prevent or fight against it. Following the financial scandals of cabinet members and Netanyahu for the exclusive use of media resources and also ordering expensive equipment and decoration for their personal planes, every day financial scandals add to the records of the Israeli authorities. Also new allegations of misconduct against scandal-ridden Likud Knesset member Oren Hazan surfaced Monday evening.

It is worth mentioning that many members of the Likud in recent years due to gaining wealth and power have been linked to corruption. Netanyahu’s financial and moral scandals is a small part of the disaster.
