ARG Spokesman And Chief Of Protocol Announced
MEP: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Sunday has appointed Mohammad Haroon Chakhansori as the new presidential spokesman and Mukhtarullah Mukhtar as chief of protocol.
A statement by Presidential Palace (ARG) said the appointment of both officials was approved by his Excellency.
Chakhansori has previously worked for the master of ceremonies (MC) for administration affairs and today has been appointed as superior in rank as high as presidential spokesman.
Also Mukhtar with the privileges and current tasks (Special Assistant to the President) as the MC for administration affairs, has been hired, the statement added.
The statement further adds that Chakhansuri has a master’s degree in public administration and policy, which was gained at the Sydney University of Australia. He has previously worked for the World Bank and has over 12 years of experience in government and non-government organizations in the fields of policy making and program management.
He has also numerous translations of writings and coordination of programs, policy development, public administration and project management.
The statement by ARG meanwhile said that Mukhtar has previously served in transition committee, ministry of rural development, and ministry of agriculture and irrigation and has over 12 years of experience in government and non-government organizations.
He has completed his higher education in business administration.
