18 Daesh Terrorists Killed In Afghan Military Operations In Nangarhar
MEP: At least 18 Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorists have been killed in Afghan air and ground operations conducted in Kot district of Nangarhar province.
In addition, 11 others wounded.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense said Sunday the operations were launched during past 24 hours on the terror positions.
The operations were launched by Afghan air force and artillery attacks by the army, the statement added.
The Ministry of National Defense notes that a vehicle of the terror group was also destroyed in the attacks.
This comes as yesterday in the security forces operation, nine Daesh terrorists have also been killed and several others wounded in the province.
Nangarhar is one of the eastern provinces of Afghanistan in which Daesh terrorist group is considered that its people are active in some districts including Kot and Achin.
