Children’s military movement, known as Anfroa, started its operations by establishing “Jihad callers” jihadi center in 2013 and by 2015 expanded its operation to Aleppo’s northern parts. The movement’s activities include distributing posters and leaflets in large scales, giving passionate speeches and providing financial aids. Offering a hundred dollars per child in refugee camps and poverty of the refugee families had provided thousands of child soldiers for al-Muhaysini.

Children are being brainwashed in military camps and then they learn how to shoot with light and heavy missiles. They chose strong children to shoot with heavy missiles, Anti-aircraft missiles, and practices for suicidal operations.

Jabhat Fateh Alsham (formerly known as Al-Nusra Front) is the most regular costumer of al-Muhaysini military camps. Reports are saying that more than two third of these fighters are being killed for Jabhat Fateh Alsham. Considering most tutors are from Jabhat Fateh Alsham or Ahrar al-Sham, so most of them are being sent to these two groups and some of them are kept for future fights.

According to informed sources, more than 21 groups with more than three thousands soldiers are engaged in attacking Aleppo. Most of these soldiers are between the ages of 15 to 22 although we do not have a clear picture of how many soldiers are actually below the age of 18. But it is believed that most of these child soldiers are used in front lines or suicidal operations.

Terrorist armed groups abuse children’s innocent nature to use them in suicidal operations or make human shield in fierce battlefields. These factors have made children as precious factors not only to be used in battlefields but to carry and transfer their ideology into the next generation.
