A Deportation Harassment; 11 Million Undocumented Immigrants, 3 Million On The First Step; Muslims, Mexican, And Many Others
MEP: Many political analysts believe that a major part of president-elect Donald Trump’s campaign promises will not be kept after he takes the house. They consider these proposals as a device to attract the attention and vote of the public. Howsoever, the promise to deport all the undocumented immigrants from the country is not to be put in the safe after the election.
In one of his first interviews after the election with CBX news, Trump re-emphasized on deporting a mass number of immigrants especially those who are criminals or have records of criminal acts. “What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably 2 million, it could be even 3 million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” trump says in the interview.
The number of undocumented immigrants are reported to be more than 11 million ones, while the group distinguished as criminals or with criminal records are the first target of Trump in deportation case. This group is supposed to be over 3 million by Trump.
The large amount made sort of a harassment in the public and especially in specific groups like Muslims and Mexicans. This is while RNC Chairman Reince Priebus’ claims last week that Trump would not call for mass deportation. Besides, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) denies any immediate deportation project and says the emphasis is on securing the borders and controlling the comings and goings.
The hesitations and affirm-denial policy about the deportation have put the large 11 million undocumented immigrant population of America in a tense and horrifying condition. While the consultants and speakers deny the issue and try to control the condition, the president-elect smashes all their efforts and revitalizes the worries.
Meanwhile, the protests around the country is rising up and these deportation harassments may also re-flame the demonstrations. According to the reports, a major part of the protesters are the immigrants and those who find themselves in a worrying condition.
