Helicopter crash in Mexico killed seven

A Mexican military helicopter crashed on Friday October 6th in the northern state of Durango, in which seven people were killed and one was injured.

The bodies of the rest of the victims were believed to be in the wreckage of the craft.

Mexico’s Defense Department said Friday the Bell 412 transport helicopters was on a training mission and was carrying 2 pilots, an officer and five soldiers.

The one survivor was in grave condition in hospital, while authorities are searching for the bodies of seven other military members which were presumed to be among the remains of the aircraft.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
