5th Symposium Of WFNS 2016

KABUL: (MEP) The Fifth International Symposium of the Association of Neurosurgeons was held on Sunday afternoon at Milad Tower in Tehran. During the ceremony, in which foreign guests were present, the statue of Professor Samii, a famous neurosurgeon, was unveiled.

Prominent scientific figures from Germany, China and Serbia attended the 5th Symposium of World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies in Tehran.

The 5th Symposium of World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS 2016), concurrent with the 7th International Neurosurgery Congress and the 1st International Neuroscience Confederation Congress, supported by the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and led by Prof. Samii, was held in Tehran on 17-22 April, 2016.

Founded in 1955, the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) is a professional, scientific, non-governmental organization comprising 5 Continental Associations, 114 National Neurosurgical Societies and 5 Affiliate Societies, representing some 30,000 neurosurgeons worldwide. The mission of the WFNS is to work together with member societies to improve worldwide neurosurgical care, training and research to benefit our patients.
