ISIS In Afghanistan Prepares To Attack Central Asia And Russia
KABUL: (MEP) Zamir Kabulov, the Russian presidential representative to Afghanistan and head of the second Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, yesterday in a press conference expressed his concerns regarding the flourishing Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS or Daesh) activities in Afghanistan, saying:” the number of the so-called ISIS guerrillas in Afghanistan has increased alarmingly and this poses a direct threat against Central Asia and Russia.”
There are more than 10,000 ISIS rebels in Afghanistan, added Kabulov, though a year before their number barely exceeded 100 people but to our despair, today, they display a significant growth in this region.
“ISIS’ Afghanistan branch has been trained for the Central Asia and Russia in particular and often the spoken language is Russian,” added Mr. Kabulov.
