16 Cabinet Members Approved by House of Parliament
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Members of the parliament have voted for 16 ministry nominees for the cabinet of the National Unity Government and all of them received the vote of confidence today.
The new cabinet members are the followings:
- Abdul Razaq Wahidi for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
- Mahmood Baligh for Ministry of Public Work
- Homayoun Rasa for the Ministry of Commerce and Industries
- Abdul Bari Jahani for the Ministry of Information and Culture
- Asadullah Zamir for the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock
- Mohammad Gulab Mangal for the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs
- Abdul Satar Murad for the Ministry of Economy
- Maymood Batash for the Ministry of Transport
- Asadullah Hanif Balkhi for the Ministry of Education
- Sayed Sadat Naderi for the Ministry of Urban Development Affairs
- Abdul Basir Anwar for the Ministry of Justice
- Salamat Azimi for the Ministry of Counter Narcotics
- Farida Momand for the for the Ministry of Higher Education
- Nasreen Oryakhil for the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled
- Ali Ahmad Osmani for the Ministry of Energy and Water
- Dilbar Nazari for the Ministry of Women Affairs.
However, the cabinet members for the Ministry of Defense, chief of the Afghan international bank, chief of the Supreme Court and the Attorney General have not been introduced yet.
