150 Afghan Businessmen Ready To Invest In Iran’s Chabahar Port
MEP: Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced 150 Afghan businessmen are ready to invest in Iran’s Chabahar port.
Commercial port of Chabahar is presented as the alternative to the Pakistani port of Karachi and the country’s businessmen have shown much interest to participate in Chabahar to boost their business.
Ministry of Commerce and Industry Spokesman Musafir Qoqandi said for that interest, 150 businessmen have expressed readiness to invest in Chabahar.
According to him, the port of Chabahar has great profitability potential for investors of Afghanistan and due to the ease of investing in the port, a large number of investors willing to invest in this port.
Qoqandi stated that the construction of the Chabahar port, shipping of each container trade goods would be 500 to 1000 dollars cheaper than the port of Pakistan’s Karachi.
Trade and economic officials of Afghanistan, India and Iran last year signed a tripartite agreement for the construction of economic and transit trade port of Chabahar in Tehran.
