Zionist Regime Says “NO” To Reconciliation Agreement With Turkey

Isaac-HerzogMEP: A number of senior Israeli politicians reacted to the recent Israel-Turkey rapprochement with blunt refusal.

Yitzhak Herzog, the head of Israeli Labor Party, said the new reconciliatory steps taken by Israeli Prime Minister are nothing but Netanyahu’s everyday political chicanery.

“The resumption of diplomatic relations with Ankara and awarding the murderers who killed our soldiers in compensation are totally unacceptable,” said Mr. Herzog.

Adding his voice to Herzog’s criticism, Amir Peretz, — the member of Knesset from the Labor Party and the former Minister of War–delivered a speech in the Herzliya Conference where he denounced, in the harshest terms, the Israel-Turkey Reconciliation Agreement.

Herzog and Peretz are not the only Israeli politicians who declared their strong opposition to the Israeli-Turkish entente but as a matter of fact, the majority members of Israel’s ruling Likud party are divided on this very issue.

A cabinet minister who wanted to remain anonymous told local news agencies that many of his colleagues have differing views with the Israeli Premier vis-à-vis Israel-Turkey deal. “Mr. Prime Minister by signing this agreement which is both disdainful and condescending, caused the Jewish State to completely lose its regional and international stature,” said the minister.

Israel’s Channel 7 television station reported a fresh survey conducted by Midgam Research Institute, which according to the majority of inhabitants of the Zionist occupied territories [so-called Israelis] oppose the normalization of ties between Tel Aviv and Ankara. % 65 of Israelis is against the normalization of ties with Turkey whereas only % 24 of participants displayed their agreement.

Earlier, Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli Minister of War slammed Netanyahu for signing the deal with Turkey.
