KABUL: (Middle East Press) A woman has beheaded and killed her husband with the assistant of her brother-in-law in northern Balkh province, local security officials said.
The officials added that the incident took place on Tuesday night in Ali Sher Nawai area of in Mazar-e-Sharif and the woman is currently under police custody.
Provincial Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Salahuddin Sultan said the brother of the victim has also been arrested in regarding the incident.
Sultan further added that the convict has confessed to her crime and there are suspicions that the woman had illegitimate relations with her brother-in-law.
