UN: At Least 1400 Yemeni Children Killed In Two Years

MEP: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that about 1,400 children have been killed in armed conflicts which began about two years ago in Yemen.

UNICEF representative in Yemen says that about 1,400 Yemeni children have been killed and more than 2140 others have been injured during the war in Yemen in Saudi aggression.

He added that the real number may be higher, since more than 460 thousand Yemeni children suffer from severe malnutrition.

Probability of their death is 11 times higher than the other children.

Yemen is facing the Coalition forces’ air strikes led by Saudi Arabia since two years ago. The country is under a severe economic siege.
