Two ISIL Suicide Bombers Arrested In Kabul

MEP: The Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested two teen-linked with the ISIL or Daesh terrorist group that had planned to carry out suicide attacks in Kabul city.

Jalil Ahmad, son of Sayyed Ahmad and Hamed son of Aminullah to train suicide attacks, were about to transfer to eastern Nangarhar province from Herat city, a statement by NDS said on Monday.

The two suicide bombers were detained in the 6th police district of Kabul city before arriving in Nangarhar, the statement added.

NDS further added that detainees have confessed that were recruited into the group by Mullah Abdul Latif, the advertising manager for the terrorist group in Karkh district of western Herat province.

The report comes as last week a deadly suicide attack, claimed by ISIL terror group inside a religious mosque in Kabul, killed more than 40 people and injured some 65 others. The attack occurred when a large number of Shia Muslims had gathered to mourn for Imam Hussain’s Arbaeen.
