Tribal Elder Hanged by Taliban in Uruzgan
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A tribal elder has been hanged by Taliban militants group in central Uruzgan province early Wednesday, according to local officials.
District governor, Abdul Karim Karimi said that the incident took place in Khas Uruzgan district after Taliban abducted Haji Abbas a tribal elder and he was found hanged after a few hours.
Karimi said the motive behind the incident is unclear.
According to Karimi Haji Abbas was found in an area which is not under the control of the government.
However, The Taliban militants are yet to comment on the report.
