Three Children Killed in Bamyan Explosion

US Kandahar AfghanistanKABUL: (Middle East Press) A roadside bomb explosion killed at least three children in northeastern Bamyan province, local officials said Saturday.

The officials added that the incident took place on Thursday in Yakawlang District when the children were collecting wood for burning.

Another child was also injured in the explosion, according to officials adding that the children were aged between 9 and 13 years old.

Mohammad Nabi, mayor of Yakawlang District said that the area was furnished by Taliban when they were controlling it.

He said most of those bombs exist in the area and threat lives of people.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
