Taliban wearing Saudi Uniforms killed in Nangarhar

Nangarhar local officials say 30 members of the Taliban Red Unit, including three of their Pakistani commanders, were killed in a special operation of Security Forces.

The operation was launched in Kodikhil area of Shirzad district last night, Nangarhar Governor Spokesperson Ataullah Khogiani told Middle East Press.

30 members of Taliban Red Unit, including three Pakistani commanders were killed in the operation, and 14 others were wounded, he declared.

The Taliban’s transceiver system in Nangarhar province, has also been destroyed, Khogiani said.

Spokesperson for Nangarhar Governor says the armed Taliban group used a mosque as a trench.

Images published from the Taliban’s equipment show that they used to were Saudi military uniforms.

The armed Taliban have not yet commented on this.

Saudi military uniforms are found from Taliban in Shirzad district, while formerly 800,000 Saudi riyals were found from ISIL 5 arrested members.
