Taliban district governor killed in Jawzjan

In the mines explosion, the district governor of the armed Taliban group was killed in Khamab District with four of his companions.

Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani the police commander of Jawzjan province, told the Middle East Press.

The armed Taliban’s leader Qari Majid was killed in Khamab with a boy and three other people as a result of a mine explosion.

According to him, these people were killed when they were making mines in the house of Qari Majid.

Roadside mines, which were made by the group, are one of their deadly strategies in targeting security forces, and sometimes they also fall victim to the group’s members.
