Suicide Attack Kills Four In Sar-e-Pol Province
MEP: A suicide attack in northern Sar-e-Pol province has reportedly killed at least four people and injured two others.
According to local officials the attack took place Wednesday at around 10:00 AM local time in Sancharak district after the suicide bomber targeted the vehicle of Hajji Rahim Ayoubi a former Jihadi leader.
Reports indicate that Ayoubi has survived the attack unhurt but four members of his family were killed including two of his sons and two nephews.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
The blast comes as citizens celebrates Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
