State Dept. Reportedly Oks F-16 Sale To Bahrain Despite Human Rights Abuses
MEP: The Trump administration like his British predecessors has continued its support for the monarchies while suppresses the democratically elected governments that are against the American agenda of global hegemony.
The Trump administration has agreed to sell arms worth 5 billion dollar to the notorious kingdom of Bahrain. The Obama administration had put restrictions on such deals due to the open human rights violations made by the government.
The aerospace, defense, security and advanced technology manufacturers Lockheed has been given a contract to provide Bahrain with F-16 fighter jets without preconditions on improved human rights conditions in the kingdom.
A spokesperson of the F-16 program at the Lockheed has said they consider it inappropriate to comment on behalf of the US government and whoever they sell the weapons to.
This agreement includes 19 F-16s, 23 engines, radar and other sophisticated missiles.
