Stampede Claims 2 Children’s Lives In Herat

Afghanistan_Herat_Province_locationKABUL: (MEP) Local officials in western Herat province say that a deadly stampede caused by storm shower left at least two children dead on Wednesday evening.

In addition, 10 others critically wounded in the rum.

The incident occurred in the city’s park where scores of people had gathered to celebrate the Nowroz, Persian New Year, according to officials.

The 4 and 5 years old children lost their lives after the elder men and women rushed towards the shelter as heavy hail shower started.
