Some Hamas Leaders Oppose Israeli-Palestinian Truce
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades Muhammed al-Deif said that some Hamas leaders strongly oppose Israeli-Palestinian truce, and they also declared that in case of acceptance of the truce Khaled Meshaal shall be responsible for the consequences.
According to the report, Hamas leaders believe that resistance movement wouldn’t be allowed to carry or use arms, but only symbolically.
They also said that this movement won’t be able to carry out any operations against the Zionist entity for a long time, therefore the cost of violation of the cease-fire (which it is inevitable), is much more than its rejection.
They also believe that Hamas gained power through its resistance movement against Israel. In case of deviating from the path of resistance there won’t be much difference between Hamas and other groups like Fatah.
