Soldier from the popular uprising forces killed 5 of his colleagues in Jawzjan
A soldier from the popular uprising forces on Sunday morning in Khamab district of Jawzjan Province, has opened fire and murdered five of his fellow colleagues in Taliban collaborators, police said.
“One of the soldiers of the popular uprising in the village of Qorns, district of Khamab, murdered his colleagues today when they were asleep,” said Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani, police chief of Jawzjan province.”
Jawzjani added that “the soldier has entered the armed Taliban into the security shell and killed five of its colleagues, including Salim, shell commander.”
According to Jawzjani, “The armed Taliban have taken the weapons and ammunition contained in the shell.”
Insider attack and the relationship of security personnel with the insurgents is one of the deadly methods of the government’s armed opposition in eliminating of Afghan soldiers.
