Security Forces Arrest Eleven Haqqani Network Terrorists In Khost
MEP: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) announced Sunday that a group of 11 terrorists belonging to the Haqqani Network have been arrested in Khost province who were engaged in sabotage, terrorism, kidnapping and bombing activities.
According to NDS, the terrorists were detained in an Afghan military operation from their hiding place in the center of the province with a large amount of weapons and ammunition.
The Afghan intelligence obtained 11 Kalashnikovs, 26 different types of weapons, five pistols, 18 rounds of projectile with 82mm and 6,000 rounds of various types of weapons and large quantities of missiles from the militants’ position.
Terrorist detainees were planning to carry fatal attacks and kill the innocent people in this holy month of Ramadan. Fortunately, security forces identified and arrested them on time.
