Saudi Arabia Expels Five Million Immigrants

MEP: After publishing reports of the economic crisis in Saudi Arabia as a result of war in Yemen, now Saudi medias announced that the country plans to expel five million immigrants living in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi newspaper Al-Hayat published in London, wrote on Monday that Saudi Shura Council is examining “Mechanisms to confront illegal immigrants who intend to stay,” and formation of a committee at the Interior Ministry for the expulsion of five million foreigners who are living illegally in Saudi Arabia.

Sadaqa Fadel as the person who submitted the proposal, said a large part of these immigrants aren’t looking for a meeting or a religious trip, but a permanent residence in the country. Their action is illegal because it is contrary to our laws and also to international laws.

He added that this group of immigrants bring dangerous political, economic, social and security consequences for the country.
