Roadside Mine Blast Claims 3 Lives In Nangarhar

KABUL: (MEP) In a roadside mine blast at least three civilians were killed and two others wounded, officials said.

The incident took place close to a school in Mirzakhil area of Kama district around 11:00 am on Sunday.

The incident took place close to a school in Mirzakhil area of Kama district around 11:00 am on Sunday.

This comes as President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani is in Nangarhar assessing the security situation and talking about ISIS threat in the region.

The attack was confirmed by Ataullah Khogyani, spokesperson for the governor of Nangarhar.

Meanwhile, Abdul Wahab the governer of the city said three civilians on a motorcycle hit the mine and died in the incident.

He added that there is no security forces casualties in the incident and also no group including the Taliban has claimed the responsibility.
