KABUL: (MEP) A roadside bomb explosion in southwestern Nimroz province has left at least two civilians dead, officials said Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Rodbar village of Chahar Burjak district, Colonel Mohammad Ghaws Sistani, Deputy Police Chief of Nimroz province said.

He said two civilians were riding a motorbike that struck a landmine on its way leaving both of them killed.

According to the Deputy Police Chief, the landmine was planted by Taliban to target the security forces.
