According to the news site “Tel Aviv Times” figures published by the Israel Hotels Association “IHA” indicate a decline in foreign tourists in Israel because of security.

Also other data such as that of the “central bureau of statistics-CBS” about the status of Israeli Tourism show some 25% drop in tourist arrivals in Israel. The statistics also showed that tourists have booked a hotel but did not come to visit Israel because there have been strong clashes and insecurity in BeitulMuqaddasin recent months, which led to a 63 percent decline in attracting tourists.

Reports also suggest that tourist enthusiasm in other areas, such as “the Dead Sea”, “Tiberias” and “Eilat” has also dropped some 26 to 45 percent.

Published figures show that during the past two years, tourism interest has declined and this trend has taken a further downside in intense conflicts.
