President Ghani And CEO Abdullah Agree On Friendly Leadership After Days Of Contradiction
MEP: Chief Executive Office of the National Unity Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan issued a statement on Thursday announcing his and President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani’s second meeting after days of contradiction.
President Ghani and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah on Thursday afternoon held a meeting at Presidential Palace (ARG).
The meeting that was held in an intimate atmosphere, important political issues with a positive spirit have been discussed.
The president emphasized on strength of national unity government and put forward his common tasks on the challenges and opportunities ahead of a national unity government and ways of out.
National unity government’s leaders agreed to focus more seriously and effectively in the next week’s meetings in order to promote understanding of the political agreement on the framework for a debate.
The meeting came as about two weeks before the two leaders had contradicted over political matters in which CEO Abdulah had said “that whoever does not have time to discuss and negotiate, does not deserve the presidency.”
