Planting mines has slowed down security forces operations in Konduz

“Konduz-Takhar high way(Godam base,Haji Rasul gas station to Naw Abad) have been cleared and the security forces are moving to Char Seri district” added Akbari Mahfuzollah, the spokesman for general command of Spin Zar zone 808 police in northeast

He says:” while withdrawing, Taliban planted roadside bombs so the security force operations have slowed down.”

Following the Taliban last week operations, some Afghan security bases in Konduz-Takhar fell in Taliban hands and since then, the high way has been blocked.
