Pakistan’s army have recently fired about 200 rockets on Afghan border province of Kunar, said local officials.

Attacks had been carried out in recent days on the border areas of Shelton district, Kunar governor spokesman Abdul Ghani Mosamam told Middle East Press.

As a result of the rocket strikes, four houses were destroyed, he added.

Mosamam did not provide more details on casualties of the attacks.

Meanwhile, some local sources say the rockets were launched from Pakistan’s Bajaur area.

Pakistan has not commented on the rocket strikes so far.
