Policeman Killed In Kabul Roadside Bomb Blast
MEP: A roadside bomb explosion has killed one person and several others wounded in capital Kabul this morning.
According to local officials, the incident took place at around 7:45am in Qala-e-Zaman Khan area.
The officials said a vehicle of the Afghan National Army (ANA) struck the roadside bomb leaving one policeman dead and a few injured.
Sidiq Siddiqi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior also confirmed the blast.
The armed Taliban claimed responsibility for the blast.
The attack comes as on Thursday a magnetic bomb embedded in a vehicle of ANA leaving three people injured including a child in 4th police district of Kabul city.
