Nouri Al-Maliki: Execution Of Three Bahrain Revolutionists Is A Systematic Murder

MEP: The Vice President of Iraq and former Prime Minister has labelled the execution of the three revolutionists in Bahrain by the Al-Khalifah regime as “systematic murder” in this small Arab state of the Persian Gulf.

On his own Facebook page, Nouri Al-Maliki wrote: “By executing these three Bahraini youths, the Al Khalifa regime has shown that they are carrying out systematic murders in this country.”

By calling this incident a ‘heinous crime’, the Vice President of Iraq added: “This heinous crime and their disregard of the international human rights organization has made the government of Bahrain a regime that carries out systematic murders.

He also said that the executed boys were seeking democracy and legitimate rights for the patient people of Bahrain.

It needs to be noted that Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Iraqi ambassador in Manama after these remarks.

On Sunday (15 January) three anti-regime Shia activists have been executed by the Kingdom over their alleged role in a 2014 bomb attack, despite widespread protests against the death verdicts.
