National Security Council Order To Secure Kabul

MEP: National Security Council meeting chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has ordered to security officials to prevent security threats in the city and districts of Kabul.

The conference was held on Monday evening in Presidential Palace (ARG).

National Security Council approved the four-year development plan for the country’s defense and security forces after thorough debate.

The defense and security ministers also provided details on the security situations of the country, particularly in Helmand, Nangarhar, Uruzgan, Farah, Kandahar, Ghor, Faryab, Badghis and Kunduz provinces during the meeting.

National Security Council after a comprehensive review of the security situation, while commending the efforts of the brave defense and security forces targeted in order to avoid the occurrence of terrorist threats and insurgency enemies of Afghanistan, issued the necessary instructions to competent authorities to improve security in the country.

Also at the meeting of the National Security Council, while hearing the reports of the security situation in the city and districts of Kabul, after comprehensive discussion and assessment of threats and pathology areas, necessary guidelines in order to prevent security threats in the city and districts of Kabul were supplied.

During the meeting Chief Executive Officer, Second Vice President, the Secretaries of Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Chairman and a number of generals were participated.
