UPDATED: MEP: Eyewitnesses in the ninth police district of Kabul city say the Hamid Karzai International Airport has been targeted by three rockets this afternoon.
Residents near the airport have said that the rockets landed near the gateway of the airport at around 2:35 pm.
However, eyewitnesses have reported the rockets hit, but Basir Mujahid, a spokesman for Kabul’s police chief said that so far the ninth police district in conjunction with rocket attacks at the airport did not report to them.
He said that if the rockets landed inside the airport, no official will give them information.
Meanwhile, Mujahid also said that in the fifteenth police district of Kabul city, only comparative on drugs takes place and there is no news regarding the rocket attacks.
