Murder Of Mother And Daughter Arrested In Faryab
MEP: Police in Faryab province arrested a murderer who had killed his mother and sister fifteen days ago.
Karim Youresh, a spokesman for Faryab police chief said Najmuddin (the killer) was detained this morning from his home in Transition of Yambelaq of Maimana city.
The man had fled the area after killing his mother and sister but was pursued by detective organs, he added.
Further investigation of this individual started.
According to another report, as a result of security forces defensive operations in Qaisar district of Faryab province, two armed Taliban were killed and five others wounded.
Youresh says that Taliban attacked on a number of security checkpoints last night at 9:00 pm in the villages of Nahrin and Tabchaq of Qaisar district, that were faced with security forces resistance and were driven back.
