Moscow’s Role, Once Again In Afghanistan Peace

MEP: National Security Council announces meeting on Afghanistan peace in the near future hosting by Russia.

Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Afghanistan’s national security adviser, said the meeting will be held by representatives of 12 countries in Moscow.

“The meeting would be focused on Afghanistan peace as well as finding solutions for peace, reconstruction and Afghan security between the participants,” he added.

According to Atmar, the meeting will be held in April and Moscow has assured to continue its full cooperation for peace in Afghanistan.

National Security Adviser further added that no armed Taliban members will be invited in the summit. Only government representative will participate in it.

However, the Afghanistan peace meetings did not have its desired outcome so far but presence of neighbors and the leading role alongside their integrity can address the problems of this process.

About six months ago Moscow held a conference on Afghanistan with the participation of six countries in the region that the result of the meeting is unknown and hidden.
